The elegant &#8216;Halfpenny&#8217; Bridge was built as a pedestrian bridge between 1811 and 1820 and is the oldest single span, cast iron bridge in Glasgow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dk-media.s3.amazonaws.com\/media\/2prtx\/images\/61131298\/huge\/IMG_20200721_130104.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The other bridge is the Netherlee Road Bridge which was built in the 18th Century.
