Engage staff in solutions
The public are becoming more and more aware of sustainability, and many people are taking climate action in their day to day lives.
Which is why they now expect their employers to do the same.
64% of people would consider turning down a job offer from a company with a bad environmental record.
The top talent doesn’t just want a good benefits package any more. They want the company they work for to align with their values too.
By taking sustainability seriously, you can have a competitive advantage when it comes to recruitment and staff retention.
And with the best people on your team, you can become more profitable, resilient and do your bit for the planet too!

In the 2021 Edelman Trust report 62% of employees said they expect to have a seat at the table to change corporations.
In order to gain buy-in and engagement in sustainability, it's essential that your people are part of the process. It is recommended that representatives from a range of departments form sustainability or green groups so they can represent their division, feed back to them and avoid siloed solutions.
Here’s how I can help you implement behavioural change:
Facilitate a sustainability workshop
Facilitate the development of your action plan
Bring your team on your carbon reduction or net-zero journey through a bespoke workshop session
Provide an engaging lunch and learn session on a particular impact area
As well as working towards B Corp certification, we’re keen to find ways to improve our knowledge and action around sustainability issues. With this in mind, we asked Livvy to create a staff engagement workshop for us. The workshop used a concept board which was a fun way to collate all our team's contributions online.
With Livvy’s informed guidance, we covered many aspects of both personal and business sustainability impacts. We’ve ended up with a long list of possible action points to explore – and we’re looking forward to doing some more of her workshops in the future.

Who am I?
I’m Livvy, a behaviour change expert and sustainability consultant on a mission to engage people beyond the green echo chamber and help changemakers create real impact!
I was the person pre-Blue Planet who was putting up posters around the office about plastic pollution and wondering why nobody cares as much as me.
And then I discovered behavioural science, systems thinking and design thinking and flipped my approach on it’s head to firstly meet people where they are at to firstly understanding them and the barriers and friction to change. Now, I use these principles to engage teams as organisations develop their sustainability agendas, so the team is part of the solution.
